The Face of ‘900. From Matisse to Bacon

Until February 9, 2014 (Palazzo Reale in Milan), you can visit the exhibition “The Face of ‘900. From Matisse to Bacon”.

With 80 art works from the Centre Pompidou of Paris, the exhibition shows the style and character changes in the representation of human figure during the 20th century. It examines self-portraits of artists who have explored different perceptions of the Ego, such as Matisse, Gino Severini , Francis Bacon, Robert Delaunay, Maurice de Vlaminck, Max Ernst, Joan Miró, Fernand Leger and sculptures by Constantin Brancusi, Matisse and Derain and others.
